The annual Chocolate Festival in Radovljica is the biggest of its kind in Slovenia. It is a must for all chocolate lovers and attracts people from Slovenia and abroad.
It is held every year in April.
CHOCOLATIERS FROM THROUGHOUT SLOVENIA AND FURTHER AFIELD
During the Chocolate Festival, Radovljica becomes a really 'sweet' town. Chocolatiers and producers of other chocolate desserts and dishes ensure there are a wide range of all-things chocolate –the biggest selection in Slovenia. Tastings of the chocolate treats takes place in exchange for tasting coupons.
A DIVERSE ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME
The two day festival features a diverse entertainment programme suitable for all generations. There are workshops and shows for children, concerts, cookery shows, exhibitions, and street artists parading through the town. Every year visitors are delighted by the festival's new features. In the past this has included, among others, the Guinness World Record for the largest (by area) chocolate bar, a chocolate fashion show and a chocolate roulette wheel.
