View from the top of the Peca
Slovenian Carinthia is one of the smallest regions of the country. It consists of two parts: the small enclave "Jezersko" above Kranj and a wooded mountainous landscape along the Austrian border, crossed by the rivers Drava and Meža. This area is part of the Karawanke UNESCO Geopark. Exciting excursion destinations in the region are the Dravograd Lake, the historic church of St. Vitus and the underground cave system of the Peca, which can be explored by bike or kayak.
