If you are looking for a cycling trip that has the “back to basics” feeling then this tour is the perfect choice for you.
We have designed a tour for anyone who would like to learn the art of bikepacking and just take their bike and explore new places. On this guided trip we will teach you how to plan and prepare for a multi day cycling trip while we will be riding on some of the nicest roads and gravel trails Slovenia and the Julian Alps have to offer. Three days of riding, sleeping in mountain huts, spending time with likeminded cyclists and visiting world known areas are all included in this cycling trip that you shouldn’t miss.

DAY 1
We will meet in Bohinj valley to begin our bikepacking adventure. Today we will gain some altitude, as we will climb to the less known, but beautiful Jelovica plateau. Our goal for the day is to get to know eachoter, enjoy the nature and reach a mountain hut where we have a proper mountain dinner and a good nights sleep.

DAY 2
This day will be an epic one. We will descent from Jelovica plateau all the way to Radovljica where we will enjoy our coffee in a beautiful old town. Our next stop will be the world famous lake Bled where we will have the chance to admire the picturesque town, visit the Bled castle that rises above the lake and taste the typical Bled dessert - kremsnita. After the stop in Bled we will climb up to the Pokljuka plateau that is located in the Triglav National Park. During our ride we will enjoy the views on the Julian Alps with mt. Triglav. We will spend the night in a mountain hut in one of the typical alpine meadows.

DAY 3
Final day will start with a ride through the dense spruce forest and stunning alpine meadows. We will enjoy the descent to the Bohinj valley and ride all the way to the largest permanent lake in Slovenia. Lake Bohinj offers you a chance to take a swim in crystal clear water. Before we finish the ride we will stop at a local farmer and taste the famous Bohinj cheese.
