OUTDOOR ADVENTURES WITH THE JULIAN ALPS CARDS
Green mobility in the Julian Alps

Sustainable tourism is a principle at the heart of the Julian Alps and the region includes many nationally and internationally recognised green destinations. Bohinj was the very first destination to receive the highest award of the prestigious platinum label as part of the Green Scheme of Slovenia. Meanwhile, Bled, Brda, Kranjska Gora, Radovljica and the Soča Valley are all proud owners of golden labels.
Several destinations within the Julian Alps offer visitors benefits cards which provide great savings during your stay. The cards aim to make tourism more sustainable by encouraging the use of environmentally-friendly transport across the Julian Alps, reducing carbon footprints and showcasing a wider variety of attractions to tourists.
They can be redeemed for free transport as well as free entrance and reduced prices for numerous local tourist attractions. The Julian Alps cards are the perfect addition for planning a sustainable outdoor adventure getaway as you can be transported to local attractions, visit less crowded spots and ensure you get the most out of your stay.
The cards are available for visitors staying in Bled, Bohinj, Soča Valley and Radovljica during certain dates. Below you will find more detailed information about each of the destinations and what each card offers.
