Destinations in the Julian Alps organize additional lines during the season and thus further increase the accessibility of some most visited starting points.

  • Park and ride (free transfer between the Upper Sava Valley Museum units, to the Vrata Valley, To the Krma Valley) 
  • Other bus lines (across Vršič Pass to Bovec, Across Predel Pass, regular bus lines, Interreg Julian Alps - Crossmoby) 
  • Train rides (to Kranjska Gora, motorail...)

Welcome to Radovljica! Experience the 'sweetest' town in Slovenia and explore the hidden corners of our countryside with local guides. With the Julian Alps: Radovljica summer card, you can travel and explore free of charge!

Who can purchase the card?

Guests staying in accommodation in the Municipality of Radovljica for at least 2 nights between 1 July and 31 August are entitled to the card. The free activities offered by the card can be used by the cardholder in accordance with the opening hours of the service provider and the availability of capacity.

Bled is perfect for enjoying the protected natural and cultural landscape and countryside. Become a part of the vision of creating a green future and use our free transport means that are friendly to the environment.

Who can purchase the card? 

The guests who are accommodated at Bled Tourist Board partner services providers and who stay in Bled for at least two nights are entitled to the card. Available from 15 June to 15 September.

Winter edition of the card (ski bus): 

Unlimited use of the Bled winter shuttles to Kranjska Gora, Krvavec, Pokljuka and Vogel ski centres. Available from 20 December to 20 March.

Who can purchase the card? 

The card can be purchased by guests who are accommodated at Tourism Soča Valley partner services providers and who stay in the Soča Valley for at least two nights.

The card is available at the Soča Valley Tourist Information Centres, as well as certain accommodation providers, from 1 August to 31 October.

Who can purchase the card?

  • Guests of our partners, who stay at least two nights in Bohinj and pay tourist tax

  • Summer card is available from 1 April - 31 October
  • Winter edition of the card (with free ski bus) is available from 1 November to 31 March

Car shuttle train - Motorail

  • You can load your car, a van, light goods vehicle or motorhome.
  • Runs daily (stations: Bohinjska Bistrica, Podbrdo, Most na Soči, Nova Gorica)
  • Runs through the longest tunnel in Slovenia (10 minutes to Podbrdo station)

Take your bicycle on the train

It costs just EUR 3.40 to take your bike on the train, regardless of the distance. Before departure, you should check the current availability of bike transport due to some restriction on some of the trains.
