Kranjska Gora
Kranjska gora and its surroundings are intertwined with many cross-country ski trails. The longest complex of trails runs from the center of Kranjska gora to Rateče and past Planica to Koča v Tamarju. The length of, all together, covers more than 30 km of trails. Shorter cross-country trails are also arranged in Gozd Martuljek, Mojstrana and Radovna.
ROUTE 1: Kranjska Gora: 1,8 km , climbs 10m
A circular route, which also enables a night run along the illuminated meadow behind the Kompas Hotel.
ROUTE 2: Connecting Kranjska Gora - Rateče / Planica junction 11km, climbs 165m
The route that takes you from Kranjska Gora to Rateče or NC Planica and Tamar. The route to Podkorn is two-way, then splits.
ROUTE 3: Rateče circular route (with a part in Italy): 11.7km, climbs 210m
A route suitable for all types of runners, from complete beginners to those who run in a competitive way. The tracks also visit the neighboring Italy. A large part of it runs on cycling trail (former railway).
ROUTE 4a: Circular route Planica - recreational route: 4.5km, climbs 125m
The cross-country trails in Planica are basically intended for the training of top runners. Accordingly, the trails are difficult. Under Hotel Planica, the routes are easier, but with a considerable difference in height.
ROUTE 4b: Circular route Planica - FIS line 5km, climbs 195m
The route used for international competitions is correspondingly quite difficult.
ROUTE 5: NC Planica - Tamar: 8,3km, climbs 195m
The route leads to the Tamar Valley. At first, a more difficult ascent, but then the route flattens out. On the meadows below the mountain lodge in Tamar, the route runs flat. For the most beautiful views, it is necessary to climb the scree below Slemenovo Špica.
ROUTE 6: Gozd Martuljek circular route : 2.5km, climbs 20m
ROUTE 7: Mojstrana circular line: 2km, climbs 10m
ROUTE 8: Radovna circular line: 1,5km, climbs 25m
