The Mlinarica gorge
In its lower course, the Mlinarica has carved out the Mlinarica gorge. Virtually inaccessible, the 700 m gorge reaches depths of up to 80 m and is just 1 m wide in some parts. The middle section boasts several waterfalls and pools.
In recent years, rock falls have altered the appearance of the gorge, particularly in the lower section. A marked trail leads to a beauty spot with views of the wild, steep, high walls that continue to attract visitors.
The source of the stream is situated between the slopes of Prisojnik (2547 m) and Razor (2601 m). The Mlinarica flows into the Soča.
Water sports are prohibited.
