The Radovljica Ice Skating Rink

Every winter, from early December to the end of February, a ice skating ring is set up in Radovljica's sports park. Covered by a roof and illuminated by lights, the skating rink provides a perfect opportunity for a family recreation on ice on winter evenings. Ice skates can be rented on sight, heated changing rooms, lockers and toilet facilities are avaliable in the adjacent building. It is also possible to arrange ice skating, or other types of activities on the ice rink, outside the usual opening hours for recreational skating.
In season 2021/2022 the EU Digital COVID Certificate is mandatory for all visitors of ice skating ring above the age of 12! To prevent infections, the capacity is limited to 25 persons, therefore we strongly advise you to make previous reservations by telephone: ++386 (0)31 218 737.

Public transport
The Radovljica Ice Skating Rink is within walking distance from the main bus station in Radovljica (8 minutes, 600 meters) or Voljčev hrib bus stop (3 minutes, 150 meters). The main bus station in Radovljica has frequent connections to Bled, Bohinj, Jesenice and Ljubljana, whilst Voljčev Hrib bus stop is easily accessible by local buses between Radovljica and Bled.
The train station in Radovljica is 1 km away from the skating ring (10-15 minutes by foot).
Getting there
Arriving from the direction of Bled:
Reaching the roundabout next to the shopping area in Lesce, take the second exit in the roundabout (direction Radovljica, Begunje na Gorenjskem). Reaching the second roundabout (metal statute of a dragon), continue straight ahead (direction Radovljica, Begunje na Gorenjskem). Drive on the regional road alongside the motorway, than turn right in the second intersection (direction Radovljica, Lesce). Take the third exit in the roundabout (direction Radovljica) and continue straight ahead. Reaching the intersection with traffic lights (Petrol station on your right hand side), turn left and look for the parking area in front of a business building.
Arriving from Ljubljana:
Use the motorway A2 and take the exit 4 (OMV petrol station). Reaching the local road, turn right for Radovljica and cross the motorway overpass. Drive towards Radovljica until reaching the junction with traffic lights, than turn left again. Follow the principal road (Kranjska cesta), than Gorenjska cesta until reaching the intersection with traffic lights (Petrol station across the street on your left hand side), turn right and look for the parking area in front of a business building.
Parking
The visitors of Radovljica Skating Rink can use the parking area of Radovljica's sports park (between the Staneta Žagarja street and business building next to the Ice Skating Rink). Alternatively, cars can be parked on the parking area near Radovljica health centre and swimming pool (Kopališka street, 100 meters, 2 minutes by foot).Coordinates
