· 287 m
The upper part of the village of Döhlen is located on the banks of the river Weida.
It was first mentioned in historical documents in 1230. The rectory had already been founded in 980. The old vicarage was built in 1712. An old wooden bridge takes people across the river Weida behind the house. The structure was destroyed by floods in 1799 and had to be rebuilt. All the buildings are now protected as historical monuments. The building has been preserved in its original state and developed as a medieval hostel to include a barefoot maze and a small inn.
