Velika Korita is one of the entry point for boating on Soča river in Triglav National Park (cayaking, canoeing, rafting...).
On Soča river, in the area of Triglav National Park, boating (rafting, canoeing, kayaking) is allowed downstream from the pool at the end of the 'Big troughts' (Velika korita). There are different levels of difficulty available.
Entry-exit points on Soča river in Triglav national park are:
- Velika korita (Entry point)
- Bunkerji
- Kršovec
- Zmuklica
When it is allowed? 1 April – 31 October, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
What do I need? Consent of the TNP Public Institute and Permit (payment of admission fee).

Soča river originates in the Triglav National Park, from the underground springs at an elevation of over 1,000 meters. It then flows through deep gorges and narrow valleys. One of the most notable features of the Soča River is its exceptional clarity. Thanks to the presence of limestone in the surrounding mountains, the river's water is remarkably transparent.
