Second Protected Zone

The second protected zone is a central area where traditional use of natural resources is allowed for sustainable agriculture and forestry activities and sustainable management of game and fish. It is intended to preserve the existing state of nature and cultural heritage at least in its current quality, to prevent the introduction of new burdensome activities and to gradually achieve the objectives of the first conservation area, taking into account the development of the permitted activities.
