This road cycling tour, which demands some strength and endurance, will take you to the Mangart Mountain pass (2,055 m). You will cycle to the foothills of the third highest Slovenian peak Mt. Mangart towering over the Loška Koritnica Valley and the Fusine lakes. When the weather is fine you can enjoy in splendid views while cycling along a masterfully routed road.

This moderately demanding road cycling tour leads to the ridge of the extremely scenic Kanalski Kolovrat Ridge where the volume of traffic is low. All along the ridge road you can enjoy in views of the secluded hamlets above the valley of the Idrija River, Friuli lowlands and the Carnic Alps in the background and all the way to one of the finest World War I Outdoor museums.
