Safety information
The trail runs mostly on unpaved forest roads. Forestry machinery can be found on these roads, so caution is advised when cycling. The descent to the village of Kupljenek is quite steep in the last section.IMPORTANT: The Jelovica Plateau is criss-crossed with forest roads, skidding trails, crossroad and spurs and is difficult to navigate. For easier orientation, we recommend using the GPS track on your phone or navigation device and a map with the routes plotted on it.

Turn-by-turn directions
The tour starts at the Rovtarica forestry hut on Jelovica. At the crossroad, turn left (direction Vodice, Martinček). The path climbs gently on fine macadam and after about 500 m turn left onto a forest road. It climbs gently for some time and soon reaches the highest point from where you have beautiful views to the left towards the Karavanke Mountains and the gorge below you. Continue along the widest dirt road and be careful on the many crossroads of the forest roads. The road soon starts to descend and leads us above Tamar pasture towards Danejeva planina. After about a kilometre of gentle descent, you will reach a crossroads where you must turn left and head towards the village of Kupljenek. From here onwards, make only a gentle ascent, but then the descent becomes a little steeper and the terrain a little more difficult. Continue descending on the dirt road, keeping to the signs for Kuplenek at all times. In between, there are beautiful views to the right towards the Karavanke mountain chain and Bled. When you reach the asphalt road in the village of Kupljenek, turn right and climb gently. Continue along the asphalt road past the church of St. Stephen's Church (on the right) and descend gently. When you reach the edge of the village, follow the signs for Selo. Just a few metres ahead of the signpost is a wayside shrine. Leave the asphalt and start descending on the macadam, which is at first stacked but then becomes steeper. After approx. 2 km downhill, reach the bridge under the village of Selo, where you turn left and cross the Sava Bohinjka. Drive through the village and turn left at the main crossroad. Soon there is a gentle climb, at the top of which you leave the village of Selo and you can see the houses in the village of Mlino, which is already part of Bled. You are greeted by the Bled sign and continue straight between the houses until you reach the junction of the Bled - Bohinj road, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Bled and the island. Turn right and follow the main road along the lake, through the tunnel and past the Hotel Toplice. There is a short climb (Park Hotel on the left and the shopping centre on the right), which leads to a semaphored crossroad. Continue straight ahead and take the second exit at the roundabout. When you pass the petrol station (on the right), turn left and your destination - the Triglavska Roža Information Centre in Bled - is just ahead.
