Kobarid

From the centre of Bovec, head towards Bovec Airport. When you reach the road, turn left to the crossroads where you follow the sign for Čezsočo. Follow the road over the bridge and turn right. Follow the road to the fork in the village. Keep left at the fork. When you reach the road, you are on the Juliana Bike Trail. Turn right and at the end of the village, at the fork, turn left onto a nice dirt dirt track. At the end of the route, you will reach a cemetery, where you turn right and access the Juliana Bike Trail. Continue along the road to the bridge in Log Čezsoški, where you turn across it to the main road. You will have a beautiful view of the Boka waterfall. On the main road turn left towards Kobarid and ride to Žaga. From the main road, follow the sign for Učja and turn right uphill. Follow the road to the Učja small border crossing. Before the crossing, turn left up a bad dirt road. There is an open roadblock on the side of the road. At the fork there is a small sign for Učja, Božca pasture and Stol. Once on the dirt road, continue to the Spodnja Božca pasture, where you take the right path up. At the top, go straight over the ridge. The trail turns right and climbs gently for some time. At the fork for Stol and Sedlo, take the left path down. Follow it to the foot of the hill, where you reach the road above the village of Sedlo. Follow the road for a few kilometres in the direction of Kobarid to the village of Spodnja Borjana. At the end of the village, turn sharp right at the crossroads and continue to Podbela. Outside the village, just before the little bridge over the Bela stream, there is a left turn-off onto the macadam road to the Podbela campsite. Continue along a nice gravel track, intended for cyclists and pedestrians, to the campsite by the Nadiža River near the village of Robič. Follow the main road and turn left. After Robič, before the roundabout for Breginj, Podbelo, Staro Selo, Kobarid and Nova Gorica, turn right onto the dirt road leading to Sužid and Svine. There is a well in front of Sužid. In Sužid, take the road to the left and follow it through the village. When you reach the crossroads in front of Svina, take the second left turn and continue straight towards Kobarid, which you can already see from a distance. When you reach Kobarid, turn left onto the main road. Drive to the centre of Kobarid, following the signs for TIC Kobarid.
