From the Stara Sava Museum area, climb to Javorniški Rovt and access the Trans Karavanke route. The trail already connects with the Trans Karavanke route in Koroška Bela, but it will continue to Dom Pristava at Javorniški Rovt, which is quite a nice cycling tour if you extend it to Golica or Plavški Rovt.

At Stara Sava, continue to the crossroad on Cesta Železarjev road, turn right to the road light at steel plant in Koroška Bela. At the road light turn left, continue through the railway underpass and turn left at the end of the road. Follow the signposts for Javorniški Rovt and Dom Pristava. The road constantly ascends and there is a lot of traffic.
