Ride from the narrow Baška grapa to the vast sunny hills of Sorica, up to Soriška planina and through the green forests and across pastures to the Bohinj Valley.

The trail is marked with blue signposts and markers indicating a mountain biking loop. We recommend using the Bohinj Map, issued by Planinska Zveza Slovenije (Alpine Association of Slovenia).

Turn-by-turn directions
At the Church of St Nicholas in Podbrdo, turn from the main road left onto the old road that takes you slowly to the Petrovo Brdo Pass (Koča na Petrovem Brdu. Continue left uphill along the paved road towards the sunny hills of Sorica and higher up to Soriška planina.
A paved road leads to Bohinjska Bistrica, but try to avoid it as much as possible and ride along the forest roads, so pay attention to signs. At 1097 metres altitude, turn left onto the forest road towards Volčje jame, and follow the signs over the Strme and Vresje pastures to reach the main road. Descend past Nemški Rovt village to Bohinjska Bistrica.
