Northern brinks of Bled

The tour starts in front of the Triglavska roža Bled Info Centre and continues along the road on the right side of Mercator shop. At the end of the street, turn left and cross Seliška cesta, where you reach the cycling route. Turn right and ride along the cycling route to the crossroad (on the right). Turn right (cross Seliška cesta) and continue along the main road towards Zasip. When you reach the villages, ascend to Kurej Inn (on the right) and turn left in the crossroad to come to Podhom.

Follow the main road through the village and turn right under the railway track and continue left uphill. When you leave the cycling route towards Vintgar, you ride on unpaved road. When you return to asphalt road, you have to overcome a steep but short ascent. Turn right at the top and follow the signs for Vintgar. Continue to the bridge over the Radovna River and after a few hundred metres, you reach the car park and the entry point of Vintgar. Park your bike at a designated place and walk through the gorge.

After visiting the gorge, return to the first crossroad and continue towards Jesenice. Cross the Radovna River after a short descent, then turn left uphill towards Zgornje Laze. Ascend along the asphalt road through the forest until you reach the brinks of the village and enjoy in the beautiful view towards the east. Continue along the main road through the village. Soon, you start descending towards Spodnje Laze. Cycle on the asphalt road.

After approximately one kilometre you reach Krnica, turn left over the bridge and start ascending to the road towards Pokljuka. Cross the road and continue past the bus stop (on the left) towards Polšica. Cycle through the village and start descending towards Bled. When you come to Bled, turn right at the railway track and cross the track after hundred metres. Turn right again and descend to Kolodvorska cesta. Turn left to Kolodvorska cesta and after a few hundred metres turn right to Župančičeva cesta. Descend to Bled Rowing Centre, turn left and cycle along Lake Bled to promenade.

At the cabby stop, turn left and follow the road past car parks and the ice hockey hall (on the right) to Prešernova cesta road. Turn right and then immediately left to Črtomirova ulica. Turn right in the first crossroad and after a couple of minutes you will reach Seliška cesta. Cross it and continue straight on past the shopping centre to reach the starting point, i.e. the Triglavska roža Bled Info Centre.
