The route starts at the Vegelj car park (near the lake), which takes you along the Fužinarsko polje all the way to the edge of the village of Stara Fužina. From there towards the shore of Lake Bohinj and then along the shore back to the trailhead.

You can travel by train or bus to Bohinj. From the Primorska side, you can also come by car train. More information is available on the website promet.bohinj.si.

Getting there

Stara Fužina can be reached by car from Bled via Soteska or Pokljuka, and from Tolmin and Železniki via Soriška planina.

Parking is possible on parking lot P4 - Stara Fužina - Vegelj.
