Hanssen Ski Jump: In 1927 the Yugoslav ski association invited the world renowned builder of ski jumps, the Norwegian engineer Thunold Thorleif Hanssen, to train the Yugoslav ski jumping teams. The village of Studor is an exceptionally thoughtfully formed village that stretches on an infertile slope, because in the past, people used every inch of fertile land for produce. The village also has a small dairy farm where Bohinj cheese loaves are still made in the traditional way. Horse admirers can also enjoy riding at Mrcina Ranch.
The preserved Oplen House is a typical example of an "extended home", where the residential and work parts of the house are joined in the same building. It is a brick building, combined with wood. The residential part comprises a hall with a kitchen, the house and small room, an attic and cellar. It is one of the rare houses where the open fireplace kitchen can still be used.
The church in Jereka has been rebuilt several times and got its current appearance in the 18th century. The bell tower of the Church of St Margaret is also an entry shed that is paved with river stones. The main portal is made of green Peračica tuff.
The Church of St John the Baptist was built before 1300. It is stylistically and historically the most eclectic building in Bohinj, because it represents the styles from romanticism to baroque. Due to various artistic elements in the church, it is a significant cultural and historical monument, therefore, it is also protected as monumental heritage. The area of the church also has a rich history, since archaeological items were found near the church, which date back to the times from the 1st to the 5th centuries.
The house of Tomaž Godec in Bohinjska Bistrica, which used to be a leather workshop, is now a museum (since 1979). It took its name after the former owner Tomaž Godec (1905–1942), tanner, excellent athlete, skiing, mountaineering and tourism pioneer in Bohinj. He was one of the organisers of the so-called Bohinj uprising in 1941 and was killed in Mauthausen as a hostage. The museum hosts two permanent exhibitions: Leather Museum and Museum of the Isonzo Front during WWI 1915-1917.
Zoisov grad mansion was the residential and administrative building used by ironworks businessmen. The clock tower that stands in the park near the mansion was built upon the order of baron Žiga Zois, so that ironworkers would come to work on time.
The Alpine Dairy Farming Museum is located in an abandoned village cheese dairy. It is also the place of the first cheese dairy with two large built cheese-making kettles and a press to form cheese loaves. You can also visit a wooden alpine herdsman's cottage which originates from the Zajamniki pasture.
