From Slovene mountaineering museum to Pocar homestead in Zgornja Radovna

The trail starts from Slovene mountaineering museum, and follows Triglavska Bistrica Trail into the Vrata valley. After the bridge across Triglavska Bistrica stream, our trail diverts towards a small lake Kreda above Mojstrana - the first bigger ascent. After you pass the lake, continue in Southern direction across some smaller ascents and descents, until the hiking trail joins together with the road to Radovna valley and towards the village of Zgornja Radovna. There, you can visit the Pocar homestead - an ethnographic museum, demonstrating the home and lifestyle of people from 17th century.
From Pocar homestead, you can decide to either return via same trail back to Mojstrana, or you can also visit Krma valley (about 5km long alpine valley towards South-West).
Author’s recommendation
Lake kreda above Mojstrana is a lovely secluded spot where many locals swim and chill during the hot summer months - so don't forget to take some swimsuits with you.
If you find yourself in need of refreshments, you can also visit "Pr' Psnak" inn and have a traditional Slovenian lunch.
