Kranjska koča (hut) on Ledine

From the parking lot, continue along the macadam road behind the signs "Češka koča, Ledine" and after about 15 minutes of walking you will reach the freight cable car. From the freight cable car (the lower station of the freight cable car burned down in June 2015), continue along the trail marked with the signs Kranjska koča na Ledineh - Slovenska pot. At first walk through the forest for a short time, but then the path leads  to a grassy terrain, which is partly overgrown with dwarf pine. Here the path turns slightly to the left and then climbs transversely along the sparse dwarf pine, and later along the scree. Such a path leads us to the first crossroads, where the path branches off to the right towards Češka koča - 1542m.Walking time 1.5 hours.

The crossroads are marked with the inscription "Češka koča" on the rock. After a few tens of meters of ascent, you'll arrive at a crossroads again. This time, the path branches off to the right along the scree. Continue to the left and enter the wall. The path that immediately becomes climbing trail is well secured, but caution is still needed as the rock is often wet. The path is quite exposed in some places, but full of beautiful views. Continue quite steeply upwards and soon the path through Žrelo joins  from the right. From here, only a short undemanding ascent to Kranjska koča na Ledineh - 1700m is left.
