Zapotoški slapovi Waterfalls, natural sight in gable end of the Zadnja Trenta Valley
At the parking lot, where you arrive to the barrier, signs direct you to the riverbed of the Suhi potok Stream which only fills up in case of heavy rainfall.
If you do not like walking on gravel you can cross the riverbed and continue through a wonderful beech forest above the riverbed. To visit the first waterfall you only have to follow the riverbed. Up to this point, the walk is comfortable and well-routed, however, the access to the upper waterfalls requires a good sense of orientation. The unmarked trail along the right side of the stream (upstream direction) is first routed through the forest and later descends to the riverbed. Wet rocks along the trail require some experience in walking on rocky and steep terrain. At certain sections, especially the access trail to the highest waterfall, you might even have to use a rope.

Safety information
The trail from the lower waterfall to other waterfalls in the Suhi potok Stream riverbed is routed along steep and occasionally slippery terrain (rocks). During the autumn, the trail requires extra caution because of the tree leaves covering the trail.Start

Turn-by-turn directions
If you want to continue to the other waterfalls you have to return along the trail for a while and look for a narrow trail on your left leading along the scree slope. After you pass the edge of the slope, the trail becomes more noticeable and well-worn. On your left you can admire the pools and small waterfalls. The trail leads into the riverbed of the stream where the water cascades over the sheer walls and forms the highest waterfall in the gable end. The trail continues over slippery rocks, which is why you might even have to use a rope. This trail is not appropriate for less experienced hikers.
