Safety information
Greater caution is required when descending through the village of Zasip from Hom and from the Poglej Church through the village of Poljščica. We also must be careful when riding to the bridge over the Radovna river and from the bridge to a short, but steep ascent. Cyclists in the group should drive along the right edge of the road.Tips and hints

Turn-by-turn directions
From the starting point in front of the Triglavska roža Bled Infocenter we turn right and ride through Dobe, where we turn left at the end of the street and continue to a cart track which will bring us to the Dobravec field. The cart track will take us to a forest, where we turn right at the junction. When we arrive to the edge of the meadow, we turn left and continue straight passing by the junction for Piškovca. Here begins a moderate, long ascent to mount Hom. By the church of Saint Catherine there is a magnificent viewpoint with benches. If the inn is open, we will take a break there for refreshments.
From Hom we descend on a steep paved road through the village of Zasip to an intersection, where we turn right. We descend carefully. We then continue on a road through the village to a junction where we turn right upwards through an underpass under the Jesenice - Bled railway line, and then immediately to the left on a marked dirt road for pedestrians and cyclists. An ascent then awaits us through Podhom to Spodnji Graben passing by the access to Blejski Vintgar. When we reach the top, we ride approximately 120 metres from the junction for Vintgar, then we turn left and down to a small bridge over the Radovna river and continue on a short slope through Poljane to the junction on the Sp. Gorje - Kočna road (Betlehem inn). At the Betlehem inn we turn left and ride down the road.
In Spodnje Gorje we pass the Fortuna inn, ride carefully to the junction and then right up a moderate slope to the nice panoramic Beekeeping trail. We ride through the settlement of Višelnica toward the settlement of Mevkuž, then across the field through Grabče to the road leading to Pokljuka. On the road to Pokljuka we turn right to a roundabout bus stop. At the bus stop we turn left toward Bled (passing by the Betania house). The local paved road takes us past the Dva Petelina inn to an intersection under the Poglej Church. In order to visit the renowned rock shelter we turn left and 50 m up the road where a nice path begins. There, we leave our bikes and see the attraction on foot. From here, we continue toward the village of Poljščica, where we ride slowly and carefully on the right side, as the road through the village has blind spots and is narrow.
When we exit the village, there is a nice descent on a clear road across the field toward Bled. When we arrive to the junction, we turn right and up and cross a stone bridge over the railway line. After crossing the bridge we turn right and ride down passing by the Agricultural cooperative to our right. At the junction we turn left and then immediately right on the next turn, down toward the rowing centre. We ride slowly and carefully, since we will turn left after 150 m to a local access road passing by the fish farm toward the lake. When we arrive to the lake, we turn left and then on the Rowers’ promenade to the Festival Hall. After the Festival Hall we turn left and upwards, then we pass the Ice Hall heading toward the Krim Hotel and from there to the Triglavska roža Bled Infocenter.
