Infocenter Triglavska roža BledSafety information
We descend carefully from Kupljenik toward the Sava river. We ride standing on the pedals and use both brakes!Tips and hints
The mountain hut on the “Goška ravan” mountain pasture might be closed, we should therefore take a sufficient quantity of drinks and energy snacks with us for a longer ride.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the Triglavska roža Bled Infocenter we ride to the village of Koritno, where we turn left and then downwards at the first intersection in the village (Lesce signpost). At the end of the slope between the houses we should watch for the junction leading us right and downwards. A short, but pretty steep hill awaits us. We ride on an unpaved road until we reach a junction where we turn left. The path leads us through a small forest and across meadows on an unpaved road and then on a cart track passing by a footbridge over the Sava Dolinka river (Šobec Camp). We continue on the path across meadows until we reach the edge of the forest where we cross a small footbridge over a creek. We keep riding on this path which a bit later on turns right and then goes left and up a short slope until we reach a bench above the riverbed of the Sava Bohinjka river, where we take a break.
Then follows a descent to a road where we turn left crossing the “Bodeški most” bridge. After crossing the bridge we turn left and ride toward the settlement of Lancovo. At the first asphalted junction we turn right, then right again and left on an uphill slope. Right under the top of the slope we can see on our left the remains of a bunker from WWII. When we arrive to the intersection with a chapel, we turn left- After a short ascent we ride past the church of St. Lambert. At the end of a slight descent, the path leads us to the left through villages toward the village of Kamna Gorica. When we arrive to the Radovljica - Kropa road, we ride along it to the signpost for Vošče and Brda. Here, we turn right off the main road and continue straight at the intersection.
We continue straight ahead at all the intersections, even when a cart track appears before us, which soon descends and goes slightly to the left. We ride along it until we arrive to a road that leads on the Talež and the “Goška ravan” mountain pastures. We then turn right. We ascend to a junction for Talež, where there is a large signboard for the Talež hunting lodge on the right side of the road. We continue ascending on the road until we reach a junction with a signboard for the “Goška ravan” mountain pasture. We take a sharp turn left and after a kilometre long moderate ascent we arrive to the mountain lodge on the “Goška ravan” mountain pasture.
From there we ride back to the junction where we turn left. The path leads us straight by the junction for the “Ribenska planina” mountain pasture, which turns left and upwards. We go straight until we arrive to a large Y intersection on the “Danejeva planina” mountain pasture (“Danejeve mlake” on some maps) where we turn right past a raise road gate to a path with a signboard allowing bike riding. After a kilometre we reach the highest point of our trip.
We then descend on a nice forest path to a bend of an asphalt road leading to the village of Kupljenik. We take the road downwards and ride approximately 150 metres, after which we will turn right between the last two houses on the right side. We ride on a field cart track straight to a marking where we will turn left and downwards. We follow the path passing by the chapel under which lies the technically hardest part of the descent, so be particularly careful. We continue riding on this path to the “Selski most” bridge, which we cross and turn right on the left bank of the Sava Bohinjka river. We ride on a nice unpaved road to the junction for Ribno, where turn left toward Ribno. The road takes us to the centre of the village (Cooperative home Ribno) where we turn right. At the first intersection (chapel, lime tree) we turn to a second road on the left toward Bled, until we arrive to the starting point at the Infocenter Triglavska roža Bled.
