Safety information
Speed when riding by the lake and through Bohinjska Bela should be adjusted due to pedestrians and due to a narrow, road with blind spots between houses. Ride carefully across the Bled - Bohinj trunk road. The descent from the chapel under Kupljenik due to the steep (up to 23% incline) and unstable surface should be done upright with even breaking with the front and rear break. Ride carefully through the S-bend at the bottom due to unstable surface.Tips and hints

Turn-by-turn directions
From the Triglavska Roža Bled Infocenter we pass the Ice Hall, the municipal building and the Festival Hall, where a view to the lake opens up. We continue riding on the Rowers' promenade around the rowing centre to Velika Zaka, then we turn right after the campsite to a nice unpaved path. We continue across the valley between the peaks of Osojnica and Obnik toward Bohinjska Bela. From Velika Zaka the path rises in an at first moderate then steep but short ascent on a dirt road.
This is followed by a nice, very gradual descent on an unpaved path to an underpass under the Bled - Bohinjska Bistrica railway line. We turn left through the underpass and continue downhill on a narrow and steep country road. We then cross the main country road and turn left toward a multi-purpose building (shop and buffet restaurant) and continue the descent to the bridge over the Sava Bohinjka river. After a moderate ascent from the bridge we reach the Bled - Bohinj trunk road, which we cross at the turn for the village of Kupljenik. An approximately 2.5 km long ascent on a paved road awaits us there. In some segments the incline exceeds 12%.
At the top of the village we follow the road which crosses the slope and continue outside the village until reaching a marking. At the marking we turn right off from the paved road down to an unpaved cart track with a moderate incline. This is followed by a nice, clear and moderately steep descent on the edge of magnificent meadows and forests. When the trail turn right and starts straightening out, we can stop and take the path to the left up to a magnificent viewpoint. We access it on foot.
We continue riding on the path under the chapel. From there, the path begins its steep descent, so proceed carefully! We drive through the entire descent STANDING ON THE PEDALS! When the terrain begins straightening out, we continue on a nice, even forest path to a village bridge which we cross and continue right on the left bank of the Sava river to the bridge of Ribno. We turn left toward the settlement of Ribno. When we reach the first houses, we turn left onto a steep hill. We follow the road to the clearing by the Cooperative home Ribno, turn right and follow the road to the intersection in the direction of Selo, Bled and Bodešče. We turn on the road between the Selo and Bled junction and leading toward Dindol (orientation: Bled Castle). When we arrive to Bled, we ride through the village of Zagorice until reaching our starting point.
