Start your cycling tour in the village of Čezsoča. Follow the blue markings of the Slovenian cycling route or the Juliana Bike Trail. The village of Čezsoča, which was first mentioned in 1540, is renowned for traditional Čezsoča houses and deep wells called “štirne”. Cycle past the church and through the entire village along a paved road and then along the riverbed of the Soča River. You will soon be able to enjoy in a splendid view of the Boka Waterfall which is regarded as one of the finest and most watery Slovenian waterfalls. The amount of water depends on the amount of precipitation and season. The waterfall is 144 metres high. If you would like to take a closer look you have to cross the bridge, pass the Boka Hotel and cross the main road to the left. In the village of Log Čezsoški continue along a cart track which is initially routed along the Soča River and then ascends a little. All along the cycling tour you will be able to admire the beautiful Soča River through the trees. If you would like to take a closer look at its rapids and the brave kayakers rowing down the stream you should descend down the stairs to the footbridge leading across the Soča River towards the village of Srpenica. Continue past the Prevejk Mountain pasture and descend to the bridge leading to Kamp Trnovo where you can refresh yourself. If you would like to reach the village of Trnovo you have to continue along a short ascent. When you reach a level section you can enjoy in wonderful view of Mt. Krn and the village of Trnovo with the Church of the Holy Trinity.
The tour is routed along low-traffic roads and a gravel cart track along the left bank of the Soča River. In very hot days we recommend you to avoid cycling during the hottest part of the day. Make sure to bring a sufficient amount of water. During the tour you can make a stop or refresh yourself in the Soča River (you can find the easiest access just behind Log Čezsoški). You can find restaurants in Čezsoča and Trnovo. This tour is appropriate for mountain bikes and e-bicycles.
In dry conditions the road is easily drivable in all seasons.

This cycling tour starts at the Prijon sport center in the village of Čezsoča. You should cycle along the main road through the entire village of Čezsoča. From the orientation point of view you can also follow the blue markings of the Slovenian cycling route or orange markings JA - Juliana Bike Trail. When you exit the village, continue along the road which will soon take you into a pleasant shade of the forest and the northern side of Mt. Polovnik. When you reach the bridge, continue towards the village of Log Čezsoški. Just before you reach the end of the paved road in Log Čezsoški turn left between the houses and start following the already mentioned markings with an additional marking of the Alpe Adria Trail. Cycle along the gently sloping gravel cart track past the spring which you can notice a couple of steps below the trail. Descend for a while and approach the riverbed of the Soča River for a while. From here on you will have to overcome an initially gentle and then steeper and steeper ascent with intermediate level sections where the terrain is somewhat poor. When you reach the forest, the gravel cart track becomes rocky and rooted. Before you start descending you have to make sure to turn left onto a narrower trail leading into the forest and not to follow the wider descending cart track which is in poor condition. If you miss this turn you will have to face a quite rocky descent where you will have to walk along your bicycle in order to overcome it. The section past the mountain pastures is routed along a quite steep and water eroded cart track which soon becomes more comfortable. After that you will have to overcome a short descent ending with a quite steep but short section with a lot of loose stones which requires caution. This descent is followed by a level section. A trail to the right leads towards the village of Magozd and the Kozjak Waterfall, however, you should continue straight ahead and cross the wide footbridge until you reach Kamp Trnovo. You can reach the village along the road from the camp. After you overcome a short ascent, continue along the level section to Trnovo. Return along the same way you came from.
