Mt. Korada is an 811 m high peak above the right bank of the Soča River with splendid views of Mt. Triglav, Mt. Jalovec, Mt. Kanin, Mt. Krn and Mt. Matajur in one direction and of Mt. Sveta gora and Mt. Sabotin in the other. In good weather conditions, you can also see the Dolomites Mountain range, Carnic Alps, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Mt. Golaki and Mt. Snežnik.

During World War I, Mt. Korada represented one of the strategically important peaks occupied by the Italian army. From this highest point, in the section of the battlefield between Mt. Ježa and Mt. Sabotin, the military commands, which were often joined by the Italian king Vittorio Emanuele III, observed the battlefield on the left bank of the Soča River.

On your way to Mt. Korada you can visit the Church of St. James from the first half of the 14th century located above the hamlet of Debenje, whilst beneath the peak of Mt. Korada, you can visit the small Church of St. Gertrude which was demolished during World War I and was later restored. You can find a mountain hut just beneath the peak of Mt. Korada, whilst on the top, you can find a register box.

The section of the tour along the Kanalski Kolovrat Ridge follows the 18th stage of the Juliana Trail and the Walk of Peace from the Julian Alps to the Adriatic Sea.
