At the Pri koritu parking lot above the village of Drežniške Ravne, start following the marked trail to Mt. Krasji vrh. This trail initially crosses the hair pinned road for a couple of times and later continues through a beautiful beech forest. The well-marked winding mule trail eventually reaches the first junction where you turn to the right in the direction of the Snežna jama Cave. After a couple of minutes of walking you will notice a well-worn mule trail on the right. Find a trail in the grass and follow it between the boulders through a thin forest. For a moment, the trail disappears between the rocks of a collapsed mule trail, however, you will easily find it again. From here, you can quickly reach the top even if you do not follow the trail exactly. A large number of trenches and other remnants of World War I are reminders of difficult times in these mountains. Once on the top, you will be rewarded with marvellous views to all four directions. To the west, it is possible to see Mt. Krasji vrh, which is somewhat higher and also a wonderful sightseeing summit.
Return along the same trail. At approximately one half of your way down, you will reach a sign for the Zaprikraj Mountain pasture. We advise you to take some time to visit this mountain pasture and taste excellent dairy products.
Author’s recommendation
You can also turn from the trail and visit the Zaprikraj Mountain pasture from where you can return to the starting point along the road which crosses the trail of your ascent.

Turn-by-turn directions
At the Pri koritu parking lot, start following the signs for Mt. Krasji vrh. At the first junction at an altitude of 1450 m, start following the signs for the Snežna jama Cave. Ascend along the marked trail and when you notice the well-worn mule trail on the right, start following it to the right towards Mt. Krasji vrh. Occasionally, the trail disappears in high grass, however, you should continue along the logically routed and terraced former mule trail. If you lose your way, ascend directly to the top of the mountain which is not far away. Return along the same trail.
