Turn-by-turn directions
Right before the parking area by the information board we turn left on a trail up the hill above Villa Ciklama. At the two crossroads we always turn right and ascend on a zigzag path to a smaller rock barrier. There is a pass (stone steps) on the right taking us to a viewpoint with a shed on the Želeče's side of Straža. From there we continue on the right toward the ski slope to the west, crossing it briefly and then uphill on the left on Rikli’s fitness trail which takes us to the plateau on the peak. We bypass the adrenaline park on the left side, and in a right arc the trail takes us past Rikli’s monument on the south-western and western edge of Straža to the upper chairlift station on the peak of Straža with the infrastructure for visitors. We descend on the ski slope until we reach the lower chairlift station and from there to the starting point in the parking area in a short ascent.
