You can easily reach the Vogtland by car. You still have some time before checking into your accommodation? Take advantage of this and experience one of the sights along the way during your journey:A9 or A93 from the south (Munich) Coming from the south, make a stop at the Pirk exit and visit the Pirk motorway bridge, which is one of the largest stone arch bridges in Europe.
A9 from the north (Berlin) You are travelling from the north. Leave the motorway at the Lederhose or Triptis exit and visit the mighty Osterburg Weida, the cradle of the Vogtland. It is the ancestral castle of the reeves and thus the eponym of the Vogtland region.
Or take the Schleiz exit and see Burgk Castle, picturesquely situated on the banks of the Upper Saale. Enjoy the view over the river landscape, valleys and forests.
