Alpine tradition, Italian taste
In a border area, cuisine can only be rich in contamination. And so, in Garda Trentino, once the southern shore of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, traces of the Mitteleuropean past remain that meet typical Mediterranean flavours. Add to this a touch of Trentino tradition and voilà Upper Garda cuisine is served! And in this varied gastronomy, a starring role is played by olive oil: did you know that Garda Trentino is the northernmost traditional production area in the world?
